If you have just been setup with a new email account hosted on Office365 then you will need to set your own password at first login, instructions to do this are below. If you need to change your existing password then those instructions are also below. Should you forget your password then you will need to open a support request by clicking the link in the top right of this page or sending an email to support@sourcecube.help you will then be given a temporary password and have to follow the instructions to set your own password below.
Set Your Own Password
If you've been given a temporary password then you will need to set your own password when you first login. To do this you need to head to outlook.office365.com and enter your email address. This will then take you to a password prompt with your company's logo and this is where you enter the temporary password you have been given.
You'll then be asked to set your own password by first entering the temporary password again followed by your own password (and confirmation to avoid typos). Please use a strong password, for example lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols.
Once this is done you will be shown the Outlook web access interface where you can read and write emails. This is a useful way to access your email if you aren't on your normal device, just remember to log out after.
Your password has now been set and you can add your account to your devices.
Change Your Password
You can only change your password yourself if you know your existing password. This is useful if you think someone else knows your password or you have an older preset password that is difficult to remember.
To change your password simply go to portal.office.com and login with your full email address - on the password screen you should see your company's logo to know that you are logging in to the right place.
Once you are logged in to the portal you should see a link to "Manage security & privacy" which you can click and it will take you to a new page where you can choose to change your password. This will require you to enter your current password and then your new password twice. Please use a strong password, for example lowercase, uppercase, numbers and symbols.
Once this is done your password will have been updated and you will need to update it on all of your devices before you will be able to send or receive email again.
