Add Email Account to Outlook

Your new email account has been created and you've got the username and password, now what? Well first of all you have the option to change your password which can be done by following the instructions here, but if you don't need to do that then read on for instructions on how to add your new email account to Outlook.

To setup in Outlook please follow the below instructions:

1. Open Outlook and go to File > Add Account which will bring up a box asking for your email address
2. Fill in your email address, drop down the Advanced options and select "Let me setup my account manually":
   
3. Fill in your password when it asks you and then choose your account type - you will want to choose IMAP
   
4. Now you can set the server settings as follows:
   • Incoming server: imap.migadu.com
   • Incoming port: 993
   • Encryption method: SSL/TLS
   • Outgoing server: smtp.migadu.com
   • Outgoing port: 587
   • Encryption method: STARTTLS
     
5. Click Next and it will verify your account and then you are all setup and ready to go
